Icold Cold Room Panels
Icold modular panel we have expertise in designing, Configuring, Manufacture and installing polyurethane insulation panels. We supply high-quality panels, produced with modern technology from high-quality raw materials.
Icold panels are produced with the foamed-in-place process where two chemicals are injected under pressure between two metal skins to form polyurethane insulation panels. The Chemical reaction produces high heat and high pressure during curing. The pressure of over 500 tons is applied to the panel resulting in high structural strength, high density and thus high insulation valve of the polyurethane panel. Icold Panels comes in standard size but can be custom designed to fit your available space and your requirements.
Icold Panels are available with many types of metal finish to suit your job requirement, ranging from stainless steel, Colourbond Steel, Galvanized steel, Zincalume steel and stucco aluminium. Metal finish is grooved every 5 inches to increase the structural strength and improve the look. Each panel is coated with scratch-proof PVC film which protects finish during transportation and installation. The film can be peeled off after installation.
Polyurethane panel thickness is available from 50mm to 150mm. Icold polyurethane panel exceed UL 94 fire-retardant standard. We regularly monitor and test our product, by an independent laboratory to ascertain that it meets our high standard.
Floors
The cold room floor can be set up in a variety of ways according to Icold.
For a certain application, we may provide design and recommendations. A slip guard patterned aluminium checker plate is recommended for the most common room application where only foot traffic presents. The aluminium checker plate floor is composed of a polyurethane floor panel with GI steel sheet finished topped with a 1.5mm aluminium checker plate imposed.
In application where trolleys are used as 6mm. FLEXY BOARD is installed below the metal skin for reinforcement. Maximum weight permitted is 500 Kgs on four rubberized wheels. While stationary load for ICOLD cold room floor is 3000 Kgs/Sq.m
Concrete floors are advised in cold rooms when mechanical devices like hand trucks or forklifts are employed. On top of the preexisting flooring, a bare polyurethane floor is put, followed by a moistureproof polyurethane sheet and 100mm of reinforced concrete.
Depending on the needs, the top surface may be tiled, epoxycoated, or made of another material. The image illustrates various cold room floor installation styles. In many situations where the floor of the cold room is not at the same level as the outside, a ramp is an alternative to make it simple to enter the cold room.
ICOLD standard floor is constructed with a PU panel with 0.70mm GI steel. The Aluminium checker plate is bonded on the GI panel to form a strong non-slip floor. Other types of floor materials, such as rubberized composite, stainless steel, or stainless checker plate is also available.
