IOREX is the only total pipe solution that prevents and removes rust, scale, biofilm, and slime build-up. It prevents corrosion, and thus prevents lead or other toxic chemicals from leaching into the water as it passes through pipes. It sterilizes water by breaking down the cell wall of bacteria (including Legionella), which makes water safer. It keeps water pipes clean, drastically increasing efficiency and extending pipe lifespan. It prevents leakage in new pipes as well as prevents further leakage in older pipes with existing leaks.

IOREX delivers multiple benefits as it enhances water quality, elongates the lifespan of pipes and systems, and enhances mechanical system performance.
It is a “water conditioning” device and NOT a water treatment device. Conditioning differs from treatment in this way. Treatment implies that something is either being subtracted from (e.g., a filtration system) or added to the water. IOREX does neither. It works by water flowing through it.
IOREX is the only water conditioning device, which is maintenance free, requires zero energy, has no moving parts, and will last at least 25 years. Its inner core is made from a compressed and refined graphite – a material with natural electromagnetic properties. When water flows through the device, it is statically charged, and the water is ionized. The ionization effect will last from 48-72 hours and will dissipate, over time, when water is not flowing.
